The Redford Union vocal music program provides education to all interested students grades 7-12. We explore vocal technique, historical context, and language skills to prepare and perform a wide range of music authentically.
Our students explore music of all genres and cultures, including Vocal Jazz, Rap, R&B, Classical Choral, Medieval Chant, and Global music from Africa, Japan, India, and Estonia.
Our students not only learn musical technique, but also skills in literacy, independence, and leadership through opportunities such as student conducting, section leaders, choir student board, and 13th year college preparation to Early College Students.
